Essentials:
- Cafetière (French Press)
- 30g coarse ground Pattern Coffee
- 500ml filtered water just off the boil (93-95°C)
- Scale and timer
How-to:
- Put 30g of coarse coffee into your cafetière.
- Add 500ml of hot water evenly over the grounds to saturate them completely.
- Give it a gentle stir to make sure everything’s wet and happy.
- Place the lid on with the plunger pulled up, and let it steep for 4 minutes. This is where the coffee thickens and deep flavours emerge.
- Press the plunger down slowly and steadily - no rush.
- Serve right away and enjoy the rich, textured cup that only a cafetière can offer.
