Our Cafetière brew is for those who want rich, full-bodied coffee and a simple process that delivers every time.

Essentials:

  • Cafetière (French Press)
  • 30g coarse ground Pattern Coffee
  • 500ml filtered water just off the boil (93-95°C)
  • Scale and timer

How-to:

  1. Put 30g of coarse coffee into your cafetière.
  2. Add 500ml of hot water evenly over the grounds to saturate them completely.
  3. Give it a gentle stir to make sure everything’s wet and happy.
  4. Place the lid on with the plunger pulled up, and let it steep for 4 minutes. This is where the coffee thickens and deep flavours emerge.
  5. Press the plunger down slowly and steadily - no rush.
  6. Serve right away and enjoy the rich, textured cup that only a cafetière can offer.
