Strawberry jam at the top, dark cacao through the middle, a long finish of sticky molasses.
This is our first release and still the one we come back to most. There's something almost confectionery about Chocoberry's flavour profile - it's sweet, layered, and unapologetically satisfying. The kind of cup that makes you stop what you're doing for a moment.
The reason it tastes this way is the process. Chocoberry is naturally processed, the whole coffee cherry is dried intact on raised beds in Colombia's Sierra Nevada, letting the fruit ferment slowly around the seed over several weeks. The sugars migrate into the bean. What you taste isn't flavouring or additives. It's the cherry itself, concentrated. Grown across a blend of three Colombian varietals: Castillo, Caturra, and Colombia, each contributing something different to the cup: Caturra's bright fruit clarity, Castillo's warmth and roundness, and Colombia's quiet, balancing sweetness.
Best for: Morning filter, slow AeroPress, or a long weekend espresso. Omni-roasted - it performs brilliantly on whatever you're brewing with.
